Wow, Easter seems like very long ago! But this is pretty much how long I haven't written to you.....
Hello Everyone! I hope the summer reached everyone by now (except of you guys down under, but I assume you had a great one, which isn't a given here, unfortunately) and everyone is enjoying it.
We want to share some pictures with you again, hoping that you haven't enough of this blog, that is turning six years soon, just like Julian.
During Easter break we went to Legoland for the first time and we were amazed by the buildings, little cities, castles and - of course - the star wars figures that were built just from thousands and millions little Lego pieces. Two little men and their parents thought, it's really cool!

We used the first sunny days to take a little hike at Staffelsee. The
highlight of the day: Noah's
"Yea-we-are-throwing-rocks-into-the-water-dance"
We went to the Wikings exhibition with Noah's godmother Barbara and her family. That was a fun day.
We discover the 'old' part of the little town Mama works for now with our bikes...and the playground right by the lake, of course.
Art project week in Julian's Kindergarden!
On the way to a farm close to Murnau right by the Riegsee, where Mama spent the Mother's Day weekend with her boys, her sister and one of her boys, while Papa was correcting the Abitur exams (final high school exams), we stopped by the place we celebrated our wedding four years ago). The highlight: There were approximately 34 baby horseys, one was born four hours before we came. It was really cute!
At the farm, we rode the big tractor (well, the famer rode it, but were sitting in the driver's cab) and Kettcars!

And then finally a week of vacation together; the four of us went to the wonderful Allgäu, close to Bodensee.
Of course we had to jump in the lake, although it was still freezing cold. Somehow we even made it to the floating island without drowning (it wasn't far:).

| After a strong thunderstorm, which almost got us (and some amazing lightnings followed), two very tired monkeys are listening to Papa's stories about thunderstorms and lightnings in the deserts of Arizona. |

Back home, Julian took part in the family run in Gröbenzell (the parents were too hydrophobic - it was raining cats and dogs that morning).
Barbara made it possible that we see the Allianz Arena, Manuel Neuer in life-size and made it into the newspaper! (See pdf attached to my e-mail).
