Merry Christmas!!!

Dear Family and Friends,

it's the day before Christmas Eve. The fire is burning in the chimney, the cookies in the oven smell delicious, the son is playing Christmas songs on the guitar, it is snowing outside and it's warm and cozy inside, the parents smile happily at their kids, the Christmas tree is decorated and the presents for family and friends are wrapped. They also got a colorful bag of freshly baked cookies, ten different kinds......Everyone is looking forward to tomorrow....

This is the Christmas dream.....now here is reality:
It's the day before Christmas Eve. It is raining outside and way too warm for a fire in the chimney. The cookies didn't turn out well, because Mama was so tired and when she made the dough she used all ingredients double (to share the cookies with the family), but the Almonds....So she tried to compensate that with flower...The double dough turned out to be four times the amount, but the cookies taste like too much flower and the mother is super tired. No cookie bags for everyone 😟. The boys open up the advent calendar and fight about its content. Nothing is wrapped, no Christmas cards sent out to the world and while Mama is writing this, her eyes keep shutting down.

BUT....everyone is looking forward to tomorrow and....Happy!

It's not a Christmas card, but not any less from our hearts we are sending you a warm Christmas greeting this way and hope that you enjoy a few pics from our everyday life since our trip to the US, which seems to be light years ago.

Merry Christmas to all of you, happy holidays and a healthy and happy new year!

Only two weeks and one broken collar bone later (the street sign that was in Marc's way) we had the house full of little soccer players again, celebrating Noah's 5th birthday😊

Digging for gemstones from Meme and G-Dad.....

Making boats with the cousins.....

Halloween brought Pumpkins and Sweets:

In November Saint Martin came on his horse.....

....in December Saint Nikolaus came with Krampus! But they were really nice.
